Kenan Goggins
Brooklyn, NY

Education has been a cornerstone of Kenan's foundation from an early age. Born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of research scientist and hospital administrator, Kenan was primed to thrive in education. His early school years were spent mastering his studies and his summer's were spent exploring scholastic, athletic and artistic extracurricular enrichment. Kenan excelled at programs at University of New Haven's School of Engineering and the prestigious Choate Rosemary Hall while he was in High School. He was accepted into Cornell University's School of Engineering and competed as a student athlete on the Varsity Track & Field Team. He went on to graduate with a BS in Operation Research and Industrial Engineering.

Kenan was recruited out of Cornell by the VP of Cintas Corporation, a Fortune 500 business-to-business service company. He successfully matriculated thru their management trainee program and as Manager of Sales and Services he successfully secured many long-term contracts for the Cintas Corporation. Kenan is also a self-taught music producer with a strong passion for music; out of this passion he recognized the connection between music and mathematics, again incorporating learning as a pastime.

The epiphany of Real Dreams Prep was the natural progression to help underrepresented communities in realizing their dreams. Inspired to pay his blessings forward, Kenan started working with his community in Brooklyn. He joined The Ivy Key, an NYC based tutoring and test preparation company that offered high quality after-school programs. He operated as head instructor, sales director, program director and lastly President, which he commanded his last 2 years. After finding a need to serve the underprivileged with quality education services he was inspired to found Real Dreams Prep and continue his mission. His efforts shifted towards supporting effective but low-cost resources for economically disadvantaged families from our most impacted communities.

Kenan accumulated answers for families preparing a young scholar for a university degree or a middle school student for admission into New York City's highly competitive Specialized High Schools. Kenan's training, background and experience render Real Dreams Prep uniquely qualified to fulfill these educational aspirations. Kenan says "Real Dreams Prep serves as a reminder of where I came from. We serve as representation of the endless possibilities with the right plan."

Chukuma Ogude
Long Island, NY

Social entrepreneur and advocate Chukuma Ogude has worked to improve educational equity and outcomes for underserved students throughout New York State's low-income communities by way of program development, instruction, mentorship, and youth advocacy. An alumni of Cornell University's College of Agriculture & Life Sciences where he majored in Applied Economics & Management, Chukuma has implemented, designed, and facilitated STEM, skills development, test prep, mentorship and entrepreneurship programs throughout New York's City's Five Boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, The Bronx, Staten Island), Nassau County, and Tompkins County.

Chukuma worked in the test preparation sector for 5 years where he utilized his strategist background alongside the transformational power of education to promote student achievement and preparation after being further motivated to support New York youth of diverse backgrounds overcome structural barriers. With Real Dreams Prep Chukuma seeks to further support traditionally underserved students and assist youth with dreams and determination to reach their potential and succeed.
