ASVAB Preparation
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the U.S. Armed Forces. It is administered annually to more than one million military applicants, high school, and post-secondary students.
Doing well on ASVAB factors into job placement within the military's ranks. Real Dreams Prep has designed a preparation program to help anyone looking to master this exam and maximized their potential within the military. Our program offer preparation for every facet of the ASVAB. There are 4 domains (or areas of study) tested on the ASVAB. There are 5 different Science/Technical tests, 2 Verbal tests, 2 Math tests, and also 1 spatial test.
Tests within the ASVAB:
General Science (GS) Tests knowledge of physical and biological sciences.
Reasoning (AR) Tests ability to solve arithmetic word problems.
Word Knowledge (WK) Tests ability to select the correct meaning of a word presented in context and to identify best synonym for a given word.
Paragraph Comprehension (PC) Tests ability to obtain information from written passages.
Mathematics Knowledge (MK) Tests knowledge of high school mathematics principles.
Electronics Information (EI) Tests knowledge of electricity and electronics.
Auto Information (AI) Tests knowledge of automobile technology.
Shop Information (SI) Tests knowledge of tools and shop terminology and practices.
Mechanical Comprehension (MC) Tests knowledge of mechanical and physical principles.
Assembling Objects (AO) Tests ability to determine how an object will look when its parts are put together.
